What are we learning in 504?
Reading/Language Arts: Describe how words and phrases supply rhythm and meaning in a fictional story, poem, or song Math: Using an open number line to find differences up to 100 Writing: Working on collecting our own research on a famous person with at least 2 sources and write our first draft on our informational writing about our person Science: This week we’re talking about energy. We’ll learn about sources of light, heat, and motion energy and how they are used. STEM: We will create and improve our object to trade at Mary Musgrove’s trading post. The following week we will use our plans to create and improve upon our object. Students should be trying to collect their materials with their group from home. All items must be recyclable. Important Information: -Week of November 9th – Food drive for St. Ann’s. The goal is to collect 100 cans per classroom. We figured out that if we each bring 5, we’ll have over 100! -November 2-20 – Collecting gently used jackets to be given to people in need in Cobb County (in the lobby)
