What are we learning in 504?
Reading/Language Arts: We’re working with nonfiction text and learning about nonfiction text features.
Math: Using an open number line to add sums up to 100
Writing: Working on a guided informational writing piece and we’ll begin one on our own topic toward the end of the week
Science: This week we’re talking about energy. We’ll learn about sources of light, heat, and motion energy and how they are used.
STEM: We will imagine and create plans for using recycled materials to make an object to trade at Mary Musgrove’s trading post made. The following week we will use our plans to create and improve upon our object. The students will be asked to collect their materials over the week, beginning Thursday. Be on the lookout for some odd items written in their agenda.
