Math- solving two step story problems to 1,000 using place value strategies Reading- beginning a novel study of Charlotte's Web Writing- finishing our narrative and writing an informational piece of choice Content- wrapping up our unit of life cycles Important Information: *Tuesday- our field trip to the Chattahoochee Nature Center. If your child is packing a lunch, please make sure it's 100% disposable. Thursday- Chick-fil-a breakfast for $3. Order forms went home last week. - Art Show 4-7 p.m. in the gym Friday- Arts and Ed. Day - last day to turn in 200 Book Club logs (NO LATE ENTRIES) - All Pro Dads

The weather is getting warmer. On PE days they are going outside so be sure to check the weather to see if they should have a light jacket.
What are we learning? Math; partitioning shapes into equal parts (halves, thirds, and fourths) -arrays Reading: continuing to read leveled books and working to strengthen our comprehension of multi-paragraph text Writing: working on our narrative of choice and practicing using dialect in our writing Science: life cycles: ask about our bean plant and or larvae INFO: -Tomato Plant Sale are due 4-25. -Our Field Trip to the Chattahoochee Nature Center is 4-26. All students should wear their Tritt Blue shirt and athletic shoes. We'll be doing a lot of walking on trails. All sack lunches from home should be 100% disposable. We don't want to bring anything back with us. Have a GREAT week! Reading: working on comprehension when reading alone
