I’m combining next week and the 3 day week starting December 19th.
What are we learning in 302? Reading- continuing nonfiction Writing-completing our last information writing piece of choice -We’ll do a couple fun holiday informational writings too Math- Measurement (centimeters and meters) and using measurement in word problems Content- Goods and Services- how are they allocated? Word Work- apostrophes (contractions and possessives) Dates and information: Friday 16th- bring in your wrapped book for the book exchange Tuesday 20th- Holiday Centers 1-2 (only parents signed up on SUG should attend) ~Wear a tacky sweater Wednesday 21st- Holiday Sing, PJ Day, Polar Express Day ****On Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th Holiday Traditions Project is due. I’ve divided the class into the 2 days. Make sure your child has practiced and is prepared! I can’t wait to hear about your family’s traditions!

Coming up!
-Monday we will see James Oglethorpe at Tritt. This was rescheduled from earlier in the year. -Tuesday we will be going to the Cobb Civic Center to see the Nutcracker. Please have your child wear their maroon Tritt shirt. -Thursday is a STEM Showcase Day. We will be designing and creating a toy invention from recycled items. -Holiday Tradition Project: Please see more information in your child’s folder. For the next two week this will take the place of your child homework. They should continue to read 20 minutes nightly, please. What are we learning in 302?
