​We had such a wonderful Kindness Week! Remember we do not have school next week. Enjoy your Winter Break. I look forward to seeing the children on Monday, February 27th.

On our week back, we will have Read Across America Week in honor of Dr. Seuss. 

• Monday- Cat in the Hat Day : Wear Favorite Hat 
• Tuesday- Fox and Socks Day: Wear CRAZY socks 
• Wednesday- Wacky Wednesday- Wacky/Mix-matched clothes 
• Thursday- Cozy Up with your favorite Dr. Seuss Book: Wear PJs for $1 towards Rally and bring favorite. Dr. Seuss book 
• Friday- Thing 1 and Thing 2 Day: wear your Kind is the New Cool shirt (Whole School Twinning)

Math Night is Thursday, March 2nd

What Will We Learn the Week back?
Math- 2 step word problems and solve word problems using dollar bills, quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies AND use the dollar and cent sign correctly
Reading-compare and contrast versions of fairy tales to find cultural differences and ask and answer questions using key details from our reading
Writing- final draft of our Best Pet opinion piece
Science- Sun, moon, and stars
