Week of January 23rd

Finally we have a 5 day school week coming up! 

What are We Learning in 302?
Reading: inferring and reading about our Georgia Heroes, Jackie Robinson and Martin Luther King, Jr. focusing on asking and answering questions about the key details in the text. We will also compare multiple text to see what is similar and different between text on the same topic.

Writing: Opinion Writing- we'll finish our first opinion piece about the best pet and begin to look at multiple opinions on a topic, do some research on the topic together and then use the information we've gathered to form our own opinion. 

Math: Same Difference- like friendly numbers but with subtraction

Content- Martin Luther King, Jr. 

STEM- we will test each other's toys that we designed and fill out a rating scale giving our opinion about their toy.
