Week of March 6th

Information:
-The Book Fair opens on Monday. Please visit the Tritt website for more information. Your child brought home a wish list on Thursday when we went to preview all the wonderful books available. 
-Tuesday homework is a required 20 minutes of Scootpad and 20 minutes of reading. There are many students who are not doing their Scootpad assignments. There assignments are tied directly to what we are learning in the classroom and is good independent practice for your child. 
-Wednesday is Walk to School Day! tritttigers.weebly.com/tritt-news-and-events.html
-Every Friday we visit the ILC. Your child should bring their books back EVERY FRIDAY and choose 2 new books to read. They may check out new books sooner during morning time.

What are We Learning in 302?
Reading: continuing our study of fairy tales and folktales
Writing: opinion writing
Math: money story problems continued and reviewing our place vale strategies
Content: finishing our light unit and beginning our study of our government
